Version 0.99 (January 2008)
The first public release of the JIG Engine and Tutorials has been made. In the Fall semester of 2007, JIG was used for the first time in the classroom. It served as the foundation for all student projects in CS 447/547: Computer Game Design at Washington State University Vancouver. This release incorporates minor improvements based on student comments during that offering.

- JIG Demos and source code
- Demo Game Screenshots and Individual Downloads
- External Libraries for JIG
- Slides from the 2007 CCSC-NW JIG Tutorial
Users wishing to develop their own games with JIG need to download the Engine. Users wishing to see some simple example games that use JIG should download the demos, and users that wish to increase the sound support or use the openGL graphics backend (instead of the pure java implementation) should download the external libraries.
