Next Meeting
Date/Time August 23, 2010 at 2pm
Note, we have changed from Elluminate to Adobe Connect for video-conferencing.
Agenda: Depending on the interests of those who can attend, the topics would be one or more of the following:
- The upcoming CCSC panel on OpenGL (See details below on 2010 CCSC-NW Panel)
- Siggraph Updates - Several of us (Mike, Bob(?), and I) just got back from the recent siggraph conference.
- Technical Papers trailer
- Are people interested in seeing the presentation dvd-rom set?
- Are people interested in seeing the animation theater? See the trailer here.
- It would be nice to schedule some "invited speakers" during the upcoming year. I spoke to a few people at siggraph about doing this. Please volunteer or suggest names of people who would be good to invite.
- Richard suggests that we look at the open source video conferencing system Big Blue Button
- David is working on a Cookbook Series on shaders and welcomes feedback.
- L systems - See meeting notes from the last meeting on L-Systems.
